Liam was on a collision course with top seed James Duckworth (currently ranked #103), but Duckworth was upset by American Michael Redlicki (who?). As a result, he will face a lower ranked opponent (by about 130 spots) than he did today.

The good news: Felix wins in straight sets 6-3 7-6(8) over Sandgren
The not so good news: FAA still has trouble closing out matches - He was up a break in set 2 and needed a tie-breaker and won the match on the 6th match point.

Just finished watching the Korda-Cilic match.
What a ####show. Super low quality match chalk full of real bad errors. Korda tried his best to out suck the Croat, but Marin said 'I'll have none of it!'

Shapo just delivered a massive beatdown. Demolished Jan-Lennard Struff 6-1, 6-3.
The match was 99% smooth sailing but Shapo was SUPER close to getting broken 1st game on his serve by Struffi. Thankfully he came out of that on the good end.
Nice to finally put one over on a clear nemesis.

I was watching that match last night and I had to turn it off as it was putrid from both players. Korda plays Felix next.

Leylah won't be facing top seed Sloane Stephens as she was eliminated rather easily by Kristína Kučová 6-2 6-2.

Thats lucky loser Kucova. Stephens is done.
She's 1-8 in her last 9 matches and has lost 23 of her last 31 matches since Wimbledon 2019. Drawing her in R1 is like getting a bye.

Milos far from his best, but still good enough to advance over Tommy Paul...

Musetti is white hot right now. On verge of breadsticking Diego in the deciding set.
