In my opinion you could do a GDT on the prospects forum but I like that there is this mega thread on the main board because I don’t always check the prospects forum.

He really shouldn't be going back. He should be continuing to develop with pros instead of going back to play exhibition games against mostly 16 to 18 year olds and nothing to play for.
It's not like there are season tickets holders to appease or anything like that.

You don't think I realize that?
Did you think I believed the Flames were sending him back on their own even though they didn't have to?
I'm saying there should maybe an exception in this case given the unprecedented circumstances. I don't see how the player, the NHL team or the whl team are gaining anything by having him go back there for the next couple months.

There should definitely be. The guy is playing on the Heats top line and showing he belongs. This is critical development time. It's laughable that he's getting pulled from that to go play a 20 something game exhibition season with mostly 16 to 18 year olds.
Jarvis is another one. He's got 11 points in 9 games in Rockford and I think he has been or will be sent back to Portland.

They already put it on display in the third period last night, shifting Zary down to line three. It worked very well.
I imagine Giorgio Estephan gets a full-time lineup spot, now. He's got some game.
