Now that we can purchase a fan cutout with our picture on it I went and bought mine last Friday only two days after announcing the fan cutouts. "Hopefully" this is a once in lifetime offer because i hope us fans are back in our seats after this season. I like that we get our cutout shipped to us after the season.
I saw today on Global Morning News that some fan cutouts got placed for tonight's game above the Canada flag on the end sections. Anyone else purchase a cutout? Anyone that has purchased one get an email confirmation on if their cutout has been placed in the saddledome?
I bought a Blasty jersey cutout. first Flames game since 2007 for me and i'll be a cutout. MY last game in the saddledome is most likely going to be in the form of a cardboard cutout.
Thank you to doublebass I was able to find my cutout in the stands. I guess they don't send you a confirmation email on your seat location FYI. Hopefully with "fans in the stands" the Flames will start to turn this season around!!

When fans are permitted in the Dome under partial capacity, you could be (sitting) beside yourself. I suspect the cutouts will be place holders for blackout seats around warm bodies.
I find these a little bit sad - a harsh reminder on how much the world has changed.
Look on the bright side: People want so badly to get together with strangers in mass and have a great time that they are paying to have themselves printed onto cardboard cutouts. It’s temporary, and we’ll be together again in the 2022 SCF with home ice advantage at the Dome.
$125 for a poster of yourself in an empty arena that will barely be seen by anyone because the camera moves too fast? Some people must have a lot of free cash. I don’t understand what you do with the cutout once they send it back to you? Hang it up on your wall? Seems like a waste of money, cardboard, and printing ink. I bet most of these will end up in a landfill somewhere. Waste of resources. The arena looks better with the tarps than fake posters.

I ended up getting one. Was sold on it as the proceeds from every cutout will go toward the #SnowyStrong initiative. Get to have a bit of fun for a good cause.
