Good win. Now do it again and again. This is what irks me about this team. They are capable of playing like this but half the nights they just figure it will happen automatically.

Nice win!
That's the minimum effort I expect moving forward. Of course we're not scoring 7 ever game, but I thought they had a good (not great) effort, and that's what we should be seeing every game.

Tonight the Flames got more goals from free agent signings than they had combined in the first 23 games. Derick Ryan is overpaid to an extent...but when he was originally brought over it was because the 4th line had been so so bad. Which he did help improve the past two years. Helped out a fair bit tonight too.

They are better than the Sens. Better than the Oilers. Better than the Canucks and maybe the Habs. I don’t think they are better than Winnipeg or Toronto.

Glad they got the win. Nice to see them playing with emotion. Lucic was wearing the unofficial C this evening.
Still, what to make of this team? Lose by 5. Win by 3. Lose by 4. Win by 4. All of this against the same bottom-feeding team in the space of a week.
