Thankfully the North division is woefully short of legit teams.

Just saying why Simon hesitated with the pass which lead to the turnover, and what Ward was complaining about.

That last shift, the difference over the last game is that while Lucic and Dube were working, Backlund camps out away from any sort of traffic, and puck soon leaves the zone...whereas the Lucic goal last game was tirelessly having all 5 guys sacrifice and taking hits to keep the puck in the zone.

“No short handed goals - they scored a lot before”.

Who scored them Kelly? Reider, Jankowski, Frolik. I guess Backlund and Lindholm may have had some but it wasn’t the bulk.

Gulutzan at least can say his teams outshot teams 40-20 and lost, even if they didn't quite pass the eye test

I think Chucky hurt the crest on Holtby with that shot. Easy save.

Well at least Vancouver has their backup in net, so maybe that'll give us some hope.

Play simple, fast and play direct. That's all CGY needs to focus on.

How was the goal a function of any of those things? They broke out up the middle and Simon was too slow to pass and got the puck stripped.

I've just started waiting until the second to tune in. Makes me feel much better about the squad. Currently grilling myself a cheese.
