They were the better team for most of the game. New rule change probably saved that OT goal.

Still struggled with the breakout but once they got into the o-zone, things weren't bad.

Good win, I'll take it

Last 2? Minutes and OT reviews come from the league office.

On that winning goal, Monahan gave a really nice head fake that he was taking a shot. Disguised the pass nicely.

Nothing about that win convinced me Ward is an NHL head coach.

This team is way more talented than the results these underwhelming outings give.

I completely stayed out of the GT, and it was SO much more enjoyable to watch that game as a result. Thought it was really entertaining overall.

Rough start with the penalties, but a great finish to the 1st by the Bennett line to get that late goal. Great 2nd I thought, including the hilarious 3rd goal for. An OK 3rd, we just couldn't get that insurance goal and the tying goal was frustrating to allow.

But a great sign to come out with the remaining PP time in OT and quickly set up for the winner.

Hail Satan.

Good that they won.

Too bad the 4th liners are so garbage. Wish the Simons, Nordstroms and Leivos would do something half decent offensively.

Good win!

However, the Flames need to start putting more games away. I don't recall them scoring many EN goals at all but allowing tying goals by both Winnipeg and Vancouver. Hopefully, these points don't haunt the team at the end in the playoff race.

20 minute effort is enough to beat a bad team

Still looking for more from this group, Markstrom can’t be this good forever

Turn over after turn over.
Penalty after penalty.
Defensive collapse in the final 2 minutes when you have a powerplay.

It's the same song and dance for the Flames and as a fan I don't hope for a loss, but I just want to see something rattle this team to it's core and wake up.

Doesn't an offside challenge need to challenged by the opposing team? Or is the league now reviewing all close offside goals?

What a difference a year makes for Gaudreau. Nice to Johnny taking the comments to heart and upping his game.

They did have trouble - I think they are too bunched at the blue line. It’s not from not trying to push it up ice quickly, at least not tonight.
