It was the newly arrived Eric Staal show for Calgary, but the Pens did enough to shut the rest of the team down and hang on for the win. The Def is extremely solid, but still puzzling is how poor the PP has looked, still looking for those answers. Rask continues to play solid over the last 6 games.

Unfortunate loss. Might need to make some line up changes to address the lack of defensive play. Capitals are now 10 points away from a playoff spot with 22 games to go.

Iafallo and Kessel line play well. Backstrom's line is still struggling. We outshoot DET but our Anderson was worse than Andersen.

Nashville pulled out back to back wins vs a very good banged up Wild team, caught them at good time with 3 key players out.

Probably didn't deserve to beat the Habs, but I'll take a win with a top defenseman and top line winger out. The top line with Reinhart, Pearson and Duclair continues to carry this team. A bit concerning that we were dominant for two periods and then ran out of gas in the third.


Just have to weather the storm on my injuries, Its insane the difference between the East and West, I'm barely in a spot in the West, in the East I'd be relaxing a bit.
