Love Flames on the ice, miss the fans in the stands
I have been watching BOA and love it.... but I am missing the red and white jerseys, the banging of glass when the player checks into them. The fans booing or cheering from an awesome hit, fight, block, save, and goal.
Still watching my beloved Flames, just miss the Fan Energy.
Anyone else feeling me?

It's kind of a miracle that the Flames ever shoot or skate without fans there to give them tips and tricks.

I miss it when people in the stands turn and wave to the camera. “Hey I’m on TV!!!!!!!”
I still think they need to record a “Loooooooooooooooch” cheer though.

Yeah, I love the glass bangers.....anyways, I think that sports with no fans is missing something, but this is all we got for now.

Maybe they could put some cardboard cutouts attached to motors in the stands?

I am not sure what you mean, from a tv perspective I don’t care, it absolutely makes no difference. I do really miss going to the games though, there is no substitute for live sports, hockey in particular.

I miss going to the games for sure and the intensity of fans in the stands even when watching on TV.
I've said it before, the NHL blew it big time. With no fans you could have creative camera angles and cameras on booms extending over the ice (high enough not to bother the players). You could even have drones flying around for some really cool shots.
In some rinks the camera pods are so high viewing on TV is awful. With no fans put the main cams in row 10.
Is there a sport that has done less than hockey (particularly in Canada) to enhance the viewer experience?
