Lucic is so good in the corners... Just takes him a while to get there.

My fave Garrett factoid.

Hopefully CGY is well rested after that first period nap.
Good to be up but it was all Markstrom.

Ugly first but a late goal lets them go to the dressing room up 1-0. If they actually get moving in the final 40 things are looking ok.

That was an ugly period. None of the offensive lines looked with a damn. Best forward was probably Mangiapane. Not much beyond that.

I missed the goal I was making a sandwich. Corned beef and Swiss on rye with Dijon mustard. It’s a good sandwich.
 How was the goal?

			Jacob Markstrom.
Not much else to say about that period, although there were a few stronger shifts towards the end of the period.

Apparently the Canucks haven't won a game yet this year when giving up this first goal

Those were the days when it was Garrett, Neale, Bowman, Davidson and others, with Whalen and the Oilers and Canucks regional broadcasts, and all those guys also cameo’ed on HNIC.

So, I don’t mind him either.

Canucks threw everything they had into that period, and they're still down 1-0 lol.
Calgary didn't play great but you had to know Vancouver would be coming with a vengeance here. I'm glad we got out up a goal. Put the pedal down and take over the rest of this game.

Missed the first 10, but looked to get better as the period went on and ended with a goal. I'll take that.

I thought the Flames obviously started slowly after the PK, but they gradually came back and were outskating the Canucks by the end of the period. It was by no means 100% Canucks.

Yeah second half wasn't bad they just didn't have legs after the PK
