Even with Dube, this team is still losing tonight. Rasmus, as poised as he can be, isn’t a good partner for Gio. I firmly believe Gio needs someone that is fleet on their skates like Brodie. I just don’t think Gio and Rasmus complement each other well enough. Rasmus should be on the top pairing though, so that is the tough part. Who to partner him with. Hanifin?

I wanted to give Ward the benefit of the doubt based on his record last year, but his in game management is atrocious. He is not the savour, but at some point give Kylington a game or two. Imagine if he got the leash Valamaki is getting. I have faith in Valamaki but it’s ok to sit him as he is clearly struggling.

The last goal is killer. You can’t blame Rittich on the other goals, but that shouldn’t have gone in. When you let in a single digit scoring percentage goal like that, you lose the overwhelming majority of the time. Maybe this is the wake up they need.
