The pairing of Valimaki and Nesterov and the way they play will pay bonuses as the season goes along. Gives the Flames 3 solid pairings they can throw out and allows you to rest the top pairing and save them for the playoffs.

They seem to get better with each game played. I hope it continues.

My guess is if they keep Simon with Gaudreau and Monahan that line will get more 5 v 5 high danger chances. That change seemed to spark Gaudreau.

Leivo fit well with Backlund but the Simon Gaudreau combo clicks right now.
