If McDavid was drafted by any other team he'd be an even more ridiculous player today though I think.
The Oiler stink is strong in his game. Oilers made him captain so early and never held him accountable for anything. That will turn any young star into a floater.

The 'Hawks' D performed as badly as I had feared. Subban's rebound control wasn't great, but, unmarked Bolt players were getting multiple whacks at the puck, unhindered.

Honestly I rate him and Matthews over McDavid and Draisaitl.
Not much worse offensively but actually know where their own zone is and have much more complete 200ft games.
Much easier to win the Art Ross when you are constantly cheating for offense like the two Oilers.
