So Chaison on the first PP is a thing. Did he play there last year? Or is that Neal's spot?

Jack Edwards is an awesome play caller. Like, one of the best in the league. You just have to put up with him being a homer and laughing at injured players every now and again.

Also, holy crap, the Oilers have gotten away with like 5 penalties in this period.

Edler looks like he's 50, Juoveli looks like he's still a Junior, and Hamonic has cement in his skates.

Hughes can't help that atrocious level of defense.

Did he? I thought it was stick on stick. I only caught that one angle though admittedly.

I like to think somewhere James Neal is whitening his dentures right now.

I rewound it to double check and I thought the hook started in his hands and then slid down onto the stick.

That usually gets called IMO.

Sam Bennett makes that same play and he’s getting an offensive zone penalty for sure.

Neither teams fans will admit to it, but both of these teams have issues on their bluelines.

Haven’t been paying attention

Unfit to play? Healthy scratch?

Seems like Hughes doesn't leave the ice. I'll give the guy credit, he gets involved every shift.

Yamamoto, McDavid, and Draisaitl look great. The rest of the team may as well just stay on the bench.

He's polishing something. That's for sure.

I hate stick on stick plays that get called. I wouldn't have called either a penalty frankly.

So, business as usual.

I was hoping Yamahobo was a flash in the pan, but sadly he looks to be a player.

Watching Hamonic reminds me of what I feel like as a forward my whole life on the odd defensive shift I would ever take. Just scrambling and no idea where I should be. Not a good game for him.

Man I see Yamamoto play and I wish we’d give Matthew Phillips an actual shot.

Similar WHL numbers, better AHL numbers, why not give him an actual look.

I think he would fit in great on that 4th line with Lucic and Bennett. He plays with a little edge for a small guy, and is great with the puck on his stick. Think they would work well together.

Yikes. I hope the Flames don't look this rough tomorrow. This is ugly.
