Is Sunday Night Hockey a new thing on NBC this season? I recall the occasional NBC afternoon game but never a regularly scheduled Sunday night game. I like the idea of this.

It is surprising that two all canadian games are being shown on NBCSN. The first Wednesday game was Leafs-Jets on October 24, 2018.

Sunday Night Hockey has been happening for the past five seasons on NBCSN a week after Sunday Night Football ends. It started off as "Star Sunday." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sunday_Night_Hockey

Good news, due to the rescheduling of Sunday's outdoor game, the Devils at Capitals game has been promoted to NBC! Puck drop is at 1200h Mountain time.

The Devils should wear the Kansas City Scouts jerserys to keep the theme of the weekend going.
