Did Pelletier have an assist taken away?

I could have sworn that when the game was 6-1 the IIHF site had him with an assist, but now it doesn't.

At least it was close.

Every time I watch Pelletier I'm a bigger fan.......seems a lot quicker than I remember last year. Can play anywhere in the lineup, can play PK or PP, not afraid to get into the dirty areas. I think he's going to be a real good player for the Flames.

Yeah on one of the first goals he originally had a 2nd assist but was taken away, I think Quinn got it instead.

Yup, Pelletier scored the 15th goal.

He did not actually get that assist he was originally credited with. I noticed the IIHF scorekeepers made a ton of mistakes tonight and they still haven't all been fixed — one of Mercer's assists should actually be credited to Suzuki, for instance.

Zary played a handful of shifts...most of them on the PK

Zary didn’t have a great night. Mercer/Tomasino/Suzuki looked good and the coach rolled with the three of them.

I also think the Coach might have sent a bit of a message that he can’t try that bad angle short side shot against good teams and give possession away.

But in the end to think that means anything about his status as a prospect is laughable. He’s showed good versatility and great hockey sense. Skating could use some work but one game doesn’t change anything .

He was good against Russia, didn’t play a lot and wasn’t great tonight. Lost some ice time but That’s going to happen on a team with 14 first round pick forwards on it.

I just feel bad for that German kid in net.

I hope he doesn’t quit hockey after this.

It’s really that bad. On the world stage and then this happens... as a teenager.

These are one of those few moments when sports sucks tbh.

Been in his position, and even in a recreational setting it sucks. On a world stage.. man.

This is where you want to see the other side give some stick taps and kudos for hanging in there.

I am not even sure it means that much. There are plenty of high-end NHL players who have never played in this tournament; plenty of those who have starred at this level have fizzled in the pro game.

Hopefully he has good support, someone to talk to.

No goalie in the world keeps that game close.

He should talk to any NHL goalie who has played in the all star game.

Apparently, Pelletier played 13:20, and Zary played 10:33.
