Nah, it's clear to me Pelletier and Zary are busts at this point.

Trade them both while we can

12-1 and not one point for the flames players.... I have now reset my expectations for those two. And watching them? Meh

Real talk: Pelletier has looked good in the game despite no points.

Zary hasn't played much but that's because Mercer and Suzuki have both looked really good and as such have kinda pushed him to the outside. Nothing to complain about from him but he hasn't been great either.

Because of the way they play, Pelletier and Zary's styles are much more noticeable and effective against tougher competition where their tenacity and work ethic stands out, whereas with these games it's always the skilled players that are able to stand out and pick on their opponents but tend to struggle more against tighter checking, especially when they don't have the best work ethic

Pelletier is no longer a bust, in fact, I predict 6 straight rocket Richard trophies

1 of them is Pelletier so he should have 5 points by now.

Obvious bust.

Lol

Both were great in the game against Russia who were real competition.

I’d take absolutely nothing from this game. A game like this does more to create bad habits than it does tell you anything about the players.

Most of these goals have been very soft goals.

Jokes abound but actually watching the flames players hasn't been much better than stat watching. Pelletier is ok but I don't see anything game breaking there. Zary looks like bambi half the time. His skating is far worse than Tkachuk at the same age (who some used as a comparable skating wise at draft). Plus he was benched for poor decision making for a good chunk of a blowout game. The fact that they haven't hit the score sheet (pelletier just scored) is just another in a list of red flags so far.

15-1 Team Canada and their #1 LW (D. Holloway) has a secondary assist only.
