That's all well and good but there is still a mandatory 14 day quarantine/isolation order for all international travelers is there not?

I am OK with ads on helmet, but please make them matching the helmet colours. It is such an eyesore to have say a blue sticker on a red helmet.
Wait, we already have that on the Flames jersey!!

As I've been saying for a while now, this is Brad Treliving's wet dream. He gets the team he built into a perennial "Well atleast we're better than Edmonton, right?" and the team he envies and actually loves playing in the same building.

Alternative option. CP funds an ad from a to-be-formed company named Dumpster Fire Inc and plasters it on every available spot on the Oilers helmets.

The league might require players to follow a longer quarantine beyond that even though YYC has that program.

Didn't the WHO recently say that data is showing the 14 quarantine can be shorten to 7 to 10 days. I thought I recalled some European countries shortening the quarantine.

This from the governments website as of Nov. 21
Quote:
Arrival in Canada
ArriveCAN
As of November 21, 2020, you must use ArriveCAN before checking in at the airport or crossing the border to submit your
travel and contact information
quarantine plan
COVID-19 symptom self-assessment
Please bring your ArriveCAN receipt (electronic or paper) with you to show the border services officer upon arrival.
Travellers entering Canada by air, land or sea must
provide basic information using the traveller contact information form, available through
the ArriveCAN mobile app
a paper form
be screened by a border services officer or quarantine officer to assess symptoms
Quarantine requirement
When you arrive in Canada by air, land or sea, we’ll assess your health before you leave the POE. If you’re a foreign national, and you have symptoms of COVID-19, you won’t be allowed to enter Canada.
You must have a plan to quarantine for 14 days when you arrive in Canada, including
a place to stay
how you’ll
get to your destination
get your groceries
access essential services and medical care
This plan is mandatory, even if you have no symptoms. If you don’t have a plan, you should not travel to Canada. Otherwise, you may not be allowed to enter the country. A border services officer will determine if you can enter the country.

Eligible international travellers returning to Alberta at select airport and border crossings can participate in the Alberta COVID-19 Border Testing Pilot Program.- Participants will be allowed to quarantine for less time if they test negative for COVID-19 and commit to following specific public health and testing measures.
- All other returning international travellers must legally quarantine for 14 days after arrival.
- Stronger mandatory measures are in effect provincewide as of Dec. 8, 2020. You are prohibitted from visiting or staying in other people’s homes while these measures are in effect.
The pilot is a first of its kind partnership with the Government and Canada and industry to safely explore ways to reduce the length of quarantine for travellers while still protecting Albertans from COVID-19.- Participants will be closely monitored.
- Pilot program will help inform decisions on new measures for international travel.
- Tests processed as part of the pilot program will not affect public testing timelines.
There is no cost to participate in the border pilot program. The pilot will run until 52,000 participants are enrolled.

The full NHL schedule released Wednesday will have the 7 Canadian teams as if they can play in their home arenas, even though it's possible that won't be the case. The NHL has adjustment schedules ready to go if that changes.
More NHL schedule rumblings: A Toronto/Montreal meeting as part of the Jan. 13 opening night.
NHL announces the last possible day of Stanley Cup Final is July 9

Imagine a helmet with a large block letter “E=NG”. Now that would look good in red OR blue

Sounds less likely that Canadian health authorities will allow the Canadian teams to play without a hub.
Darren Dreger @DarrenDreger
Sources say the 5 provinces have requested additional testing procedures, or have asked the NHL to consider a “bubble” model. If bubble isn’t an option for NHL, sources say a delay to start of season has also been suggested. The NHL is working on a response. Ongoing discussions.
