The Giants beating the Seahawks would be the upset I didn’t think I needed today.
Are the Giants going to be the curdled cream that rises to the top of the NFC East?

So let's review the division leaders here.
Saints - Don't have a QB, would lose a playoff game against just about any good team without Brees, and who knows how good Brees is when he gets back.
Giants - Would be tanking in any other division.
Packers - Paper tiger. Good offense, can't stop the run.
Seahawks - Actually a bad football team. Porous defence, narrow wins over bad teams, losses to middling teams.
Steelers - most underwhelming undefeated team in history.
Titans - Really underwhelming, if you can do anything to stop Henry.
Bills - Can be good, but not really scaring anyone... might even lose the division to the freaking Dolphins.
Chiefs - The only good team in the NFL.
This is a really bad year for the NFL. There are no great teams other than the Chiefs.
|
They arent that bad. Yeah Cook and the Vikings torched them but beyond that they are middle of the pack in that category. In fact they are ahead of the Chiefs in yds against on the ground per game as an example. Now some of that is the fact they usually can get a couple scores ahead in games and teams have to abandon the run to try and catch them, but overall they are ok in that area but certainly not great.
All of it comes down to QB play with them though. If Aaron has a bad game, they arent likely to win it. They can run the ball well but not enough to carry the club.

HURTS ERA BABY
God please fire Carson into the sun. Beautiful watching someone who looks like they’ve played the position before work.

Terrible last sequence by Wilson.
Timeout on a first down instead of clocking it or keeping momentum after three straight positive plays having moved 30 yards.
Then what should’ve been an INT next throw.
2nd down, locked in to Lockett in middle of the field and throws it into 3 Giants.
3rd down holds onto ball too long and takes a sack.
Hail Mary for a 4th down.
Also this color commentator is the worst one on network TV. Condescending and talking as if viewers are all idiots.
Wilson has spent too much of the time reading his own press and thinking he was invincible because of the change to a pass first offence in the first 5 games.
Teams adapted to that pass offence and then they lost Carson so had no running game,
No pass rush has killed them thanks to a below average secondary outside of Adams.
Wilson gets locked into one player, and if it’s not there he makes bad decisions and turns very indecisive. Some bad INTs lost a couple games too, again, thinking he could force things. Today well below average with no intensity or urgency.

Also, it looks like the Chargers have also been reading the social media garbage and have decided to believe it and quit on Lynn.

Meh, Raiders are missing a handful of top players...a win is a win especially in 2020

Damn Seattle is frustrating to cheer for.
How many times in NFL history has a team put up 12 points with a FG, TD, and safety?

39 year old Matt Schaub is on an NFL roster.
33 year old Colin Kaepernick hasn't played in four years.

Interestingly the 30-16 and 45-0 games today were rarer, happening only 17 and 10 times respectively.

If the Broncos had been healthy they could be pretty good. They have the Chiefs figured out. If Mahomes can't put 23 on the board, the Chiefs don't win.
