With the underarm patches the Flyers jersey is going to make the players look like mushrooms. The Pittsburgh jersey looks straight out of NHLPA93.

The Flyers and Penguins always have outstanding jerseys. I cannot recall a version either team has used in 30 years that isn’t gorgeous.

I’d love a diagonal “Calgary” word mark alternate, especially in white.

I believe I saw a poster here talking about a rumoured white Blasty jersey that could be coming out this year. With these "reverse retro" jerseys coming out I think it could seriously be in the cards.

I've always been a fan of the Flyers designs and the fact that they haven't tinkered with their logo much over the years.

I have always disliked the Pens designs though. The only thing worse than a cartoon animal holding a hockey stick for a major sports league logo, is a lettering in lieu of a logo. The Robo Penguin was OK for its time though. Plus, not a fan of yellow or baby blue.

But at least they are not as bad as the Canucks who seem to do a full design overhaul every 10 years or so.

I'm gonna have to disagree. There's been a few Penguins jerseys that were ugly. Remember the black one with the grey shoulders and lines through it? That was gross. And I never did like the diagonal wordmark one either.

Yup.

There was the mention of a white Blasty in a ordering catalog for one of the retailers IIRC.

If this is meant to be a league wide jersey initiative, then it'd be a good way to introduce Blasty again without any type of long term commitment to the jersey.

This is a random aside but man do the Fanatics jerseys just always look so trash.

Disagree. The current Flyers jerseys look like crap with the way the name tag is attached. Looks like something cheap from a beer league.

Not sure when he got nicknamed "Blasty", but I always hated the flaming snot horse, and would happily never see him (it?) on another jersey.

incoming reverse retro, interpreted by the Flames staff incorectly... they read inverse.

If I was really eager for Thanks I'd post an image but I'm also way too lazy.

So basically someone take the Flames retros, invert the colors and, post. Thanks.
