Isn't Provorov a bit of a mess defensively?

Why would you trade hanafin when you then need to find a quality D to replace plus gio is done in a couple years too

If he is healthy and back on track, he’s in our top 4 this year without question. He’ll be playing 20 minutes a night.
I would be entirely comfortable with Giordano - Valimaki - Mackey - Kylington as our NHL LHD depth.
No he wasnt. Not even close. Offensively there first track of games valmaki never produced like heiskanen.

How about we get him onto the team and see what he looks like in the NHL, and then go from there?

Because that would be planning for the future when we will need a top 6 wing now. Not saying I agree with it.

Yeah like perfectly placed snipes to a 4 inch window top corner never happen in the NHL

I know he was always a good skater, but that fan is comparing him to Heiskenan, arguably the best skater in the league.

Ya I believe I saw Byron Bader mention something about how NHLe progression wise Valimaki and those big 3 rookie d men were very similar. Hard not to get your hopes up with this guy and he is going to come in to the season already in mid season form too.

Obviously a Pelicans PBP guy - sounded like Kevin Quinn on an opposing goal.
Also amused by the stats line “1+4=5”. Yes, that is correct.

Lol, I was just going to say that's a goal most of the time if it's Smitty in net.

It’s a goal a lot of the time on a goalie who relies mostly on positioning and the odds of being hit by a puck. The Hiller style.

Weird take. It's like you're trying too hard to be grounded and keep expectations in check.
That was a perfectly placed shot over the goalies shoulder and right under the bar from less than 10 feet out. No goalie is stopping a perfectly placed shot like that from in close.

Ask Johnny how well this works, he tries it twice a game.

Gotta be on the goal line for that shot though, Valimaki was in the circle.

Do you even watch hockey? Johnny doesn't try that shot from the same angle as Valimaki's goal. Johnny's is most often near the goal line whereas Valimaki's goal is in a prime spot.
