Naturally the mob mentally comes out. Love how I'm the problem, but not the 10 other people interjecting just to attack me for someone else.

Well, no... but it is yet another false claim, which you seem to be on a run with here the last few pages.
But hey, still sending love your way

Ah, okay.
I definitely don't think Reinhardt at 5.5 is overpaid.
He's young, he's probably good for at least 50 points/year (although I suspect more).
Chalk this up to a difference in opinion I guess.

He's good for 50 points when riding shotgun with Eichel, he's not going to play with a player of that caliber in Calgary.

You decided to make things personal, now you're trying to paint yourself as the victim... that's rich. Yes, you are the problem!

Back on track.
If Buffalo were to want to make a massive splash and acquire Johnny and Mony, my asking price would be:
- 8th overall pick
- Dylan Cozens
- Sam Reinhart
- Casey Mittlestadt
- Rights to Brandon Montour (although it seems Buffalo might not even qualify him. Ouch.).
Would allow Eichel/Johnny to dominate the league while letting Monahan excel as a #2 C, while at the same time giving the Flames younger talent with more team control, as well as the cap space to make a big splash or two in free agency

I have no problem admitting I was a dick. But no one deserve a mob attacking them. If Austin want's to take shots, he's more than welcome, I gave him that right. But there is no reason for everyone else to pile on, that makes them just as bad as anything I did

I do actually agree with CR in that Reinhart is a very soft player that makes a living on Eichel's wing (just my humble opinion lol). He seems extremely vanilla in every aspect. With Risto (who I'm not a fan of) at least you get the snarl, and physicality-still not exactly an advanced stats darling though.

You make it seem like he's a plug. He's probably not a top line guy, but he's also not Anson Carter playing with the Sedins.
I guess we won't know though.

Risto is also good for 40 points too.

You have been arrogant and a jerk for a while now and I think some posters finally have just had enough. Start respecting people's opinions a bit more and even if you agree, stop trying to put them down. This isn't elementary school.

I'm not saying he's a plug. I've said outright I think he is a soft 2nd line RW. If I thought he was a plug I wouldn't say he was a 2nd liner.

But then you imply that he could only put up 50 points (which isn't some astronomically high point total) playing along-side an elite player.

And there's that, too. Huge guy who can skate-part of me wonders if most of his problems would clear up with a new team, a more "winning" environment, and better coaching. I've heard that playing D is hard under Kruger (not that it explains previous years), and that is the reason you see a sharp decline with Montour and Miller.

Say the Flames find a way to get the #5 pick, who would you want the most?
If the sens were willing to trade picks, I would move heaven and earth to get #3 and take Byfield.
If they could find a way to get the #8 pick from the Sabres who would you want/think is available there? This is where I'd pick Askarov.

Considering he's only surpassed 50 points once, I'm not why you think that is such a hot take.

I don't think we would have enough draft capital left to move from 5 to 3, considering what it would probably take to move from 19 to 5.

That's pretty disingenuous.
He's hit 50 twice and surpassed it once, and 50 this year was in 69 games, which is a 59 point pace.

I'm starting to think Askarov will go top-5. With the 8 spot, you have a shot at Holtz, Lundell, Rossi, Jarvis, Mercer, and if the Gods smile on you-Perfetti. All depending on how things go.
