Jays really missing Romano and Giles at the back end of the bullpen. Bass and Dolis are good, but they don't have the electric, get you out kind of stuff.
"BREAKING: More awful injury news for the #Bluejays in Boston. Red-hot Teoscar Hernández expected time miss serious time due to an undisclosed injury. MRI scheduled for later today."
Grichuk isn't in the lineup today either, Fisher starts in the OF again today. Hopefully we see Biggio in the OF and Panik at 2B going forward.
In good news Pearson started throwing off a mound yesterday. I would pitch him out of the pen for the rest of the year, he will be an impact starter but let him build up the arm strength through the off season. Plus him coming out of the pen throwing 100mph would be a huge boost to the pen.
Hopefully Bo is back this week and that balances any loss to the lineup. Fisher will now get a chance to show what he can do and we will likely see Davis or McKinney back up.
It makes a lot of sense to go with a 6 man rotation, especially with the amount of double headers. 6 games in 5 nights, will eat up a bull pen. It also helps make sure the starters are getting the right amount of rest.
