Would anyone start Rittich tomorrow? I am thinking I would, emotional boost and hopefully he has found his game in practice. Dallas deserved to win but didn’t like all the goals on Talbot the last two games.

I'm more concerned about Gio's play than I am on Gaudreau and Monahan.

If that is the best Dallas has, this series is far from over. We tied it up having a sub-par game, few critical no shows, losing Tkachuk, and suspect reffing.
We should be fine, guys.
History is not on our side for game 2s as well. We also took an “away” win. We have last change next couple of games and can take a stranglehold on the series. We lose a 1 goal game in the playoffs and showed a lot of fight in the third. Giordano needs to be better. Gaudreau needs to be better.

You could tell the flames didnt have it very early on tonight. They,’re a bad clearance away from being in OT. This was never gonna be a short series.
Put this one away and focus on tomorrow.

The entire flames fan base knew Johnny shouldn’t be on the ice to protect a lead so why didn’t Ward? Also didn’t like how he split up our one functioning line to try and spark the other lines.
For all the doom and gloom tho, the flames played bad and lost, I don’t think the stars played all that well. I’m optimistic for tomorrow

Picking on Gaudreau on the winning goal is fair. But in reality the whole team stopped playing and it was relentless pressure. It’s like they thought the tying goal was for the win.

The depth guys have all showed up these playoffs and are actually making the team competitive.
But seriously, that top line. What the bloody hell happened to those guys? They aren't good enough to take this team deep in the playoffs.

The flames out of zone style doesn't fit Johnny and Monny. Just blindly chip the puck and hope Johnny or Monahan win board battle is hopeless. Our 1st line C can't drive or handle the puck and Johnny can't win the battle.

He's not the problem. Personnel is.

No one is forcing Ward to put out uber floater Gaudreau on the ice with less than a minute left.

Because you all need to take off your homer glasses? He has been putrid offensively all season, below average defensively and has been pure crap this post season.
I love Gio but like i said before, no other dman has fell off a cliff this far, this fast in NHL history.
Sure Gaudreau has been invisible in the post season but he's like 5'2 100lbs. Gio is our captain and a huge liability and a terrible playoff leader.

A few frames earlier there was a clump of Stars at the line just standing there, and Oleksiak just splits off randomly to the other side of the ice...hes a defenseman, where is the other Stars forward? Yeah I guess it's JGs guy but it was an uncommon sequence to track.
And if Forbort has his stick the other way it blocks the pass in frame 2.
And if Dube gets it out deeper and to the Stars blue line, and, all 3 of them don't go off and causes that confusion, its going to OT.
And, if JG doesn't make the pass across to Lindy, Bennet doesn't score either to tie it.

This was Gio’s 20th career playoff game and his assist on Dube goal was his first ever even strength playoff point.

Your second paragraph is absurd.
Gio is playing terrible but I’m positive we could find many examples of guys falling off bigger cliffs faster than Gio. He was still a very solid top pairing guy this year, even if his offence dipped.
