Good on the flames taking care of business.

A shame that Johnny scaredy-puck doesn’t really show up tonight, he was the only passenger outside of Ryan and janko imo.

But that’s ok, if everyone else is stepping up then this team can make some magic happen.

Best thing about maybe playing Vegas is that we don’t have to play them in Vegas.

Full marks to the Jets as they played hard and did not wilt with the loss of two of their best players. I would be pretty happy to have a guy like Kyle Connor on the Flames, he is fast fast fast.

Thought Gio and Brodie struggled a bit tonight but they always have the task of facing the top lines which is never easy.

Obviously Bennett was a force tonight and Dube had his best game as a Flame tonight too.

Excited to see the Flames advance into the 16 team round! Nice work!

Oh and Talbot was incredible tonight, just so steady and made some HUGE saves.. Full marks to Ward on going with Talbot over Rittich.

Powerplay looks creative and dangerous!

They try their darndest to avoid complimenting the Flames.

Would rather admire the team that lost.

MVP so far.. Oilerz Patrick Russell!! After Rittich gave up that terrible goal to him it made starting Talbot a no brainer for Ward.

Flames are going to the next round due to scoring from all lines. Tomorrow night the Coilers will be wishing they had the same thing when the Hawks outs them.

Even when the Jets did their expected surge in the third period, I thought that the Flames in terms of positional and keeping the jets to the outside were very good. That was a very good playoff game.

Flames 16 goals, Jets 6 goals. Lets be honest, this was pretty much a lop sided series as it should be. Winnipeg gets kudos for their heart and effort, but really expect for flashes the Flames were flat out better.

Bring on an Oilerless playoffs with no more talk of McDaivd

I am thinking he has a hand/wrist problem that he is not announcing. He was wincing and favoring the R hand going off in game 2 also.
