I am loving how active the D have been so far this game. Lots of play on the rush by Hanifin/Andersson. Even Forbort went deep.
It’s such an advantage the Flames have with a strong set of skaters on the back end but they don’t take advantage of it enough.

Bennett and Andersson both outstanding. Feels like they came to make a statement tonight.
Lots of other good performances too: Monahan, Dube, Lucic' and of course Talbot.
Suffice to say a very encouraging first period.

I love the roster decisions Ward has made for these playoffs.
Saw certain things worked, adjusted to that, and more importantly stuck with those changes.
