Connor Hellebuyck made a great save on Bennett in the first. Outside of that? He did not look like an NHL starter, never mind the ostensible Vezina winner.
Goaltending sure is unpredictable.

Flames were accused of being “soft” last year. Win or lose this series, I think they have shown that they are definitely not soft. He’s no puck wizard but I think having Lucic on the team has benefitted them more than some may think.

Awesome game. Backlund has been really terrific this series. Pray they come out again like this on Thursday and not the usual slide back like they sometimes regress to.
