Johnny completely bails on the puck with the slightest threat of a check. Brutal turnover.

The Flames are outshooting the Jets 17-11. I think there is some reason to be a bit positive.

Geez. Anybody on Winnipeg feels a stick on their back and they go limp like a rag doll

It's hilarious. The Jets have completely abandoned the middle of the ice in defending the Flames' breakout. Their forwards and defense are pinching down the boards knowing the Flames will not move the puck to the middle. The Flames can only ring it around the boards and try to chip it out. How has Ward not noticed this and made an adjustment?

Best period the Flames have played in the playoffs thus far. Totally carried the play and Hellebuyck kept the Jets in it.

That’s fair. It wasn’t specifically at you. We are tied 1-1 in the period and have controlled much of the play. We have scored on the powerplay which plagued us last game. Gaudreau and Monahan are backchecking.

Jankowski sucks, so no change there, I guess.

IMO that was a good period for the Flames. Would be 2-1 if not for a 5-alarm save by Hellebuyck

Flames have looked good against this team. Game one was very one sided after the first goal. Game two showed a lot of promise, even killed a two minute 5 on 3... But lost by a goal because they couldn't capitalize on any of their 6 powerplays.

This game they have played well for the most part, but hellebuyck has been the difference.

Flames got this!! GFG!!!

He might not be a brilliant tactician

He was getting double teamed with his teammates standing around not getting open or bothering to help.

You see what you want to see, in my opinion.

Not a bad start overall. The Flames look more organized and on the same page than in the last two games.
