I thought there was some justice in his career being ended by the team that he quit on.I'm also aware that makes me a very small and petty person.
But I don't think a player ever disappointed me more than when Gilmour walked out.

			Jari Kurri as a Ranger
Teemu Selanne as a Shark is one that I feel is always forgotten, even though he played 160+ Games there.

Paul Kariya in Nashville, as probably their first true offensive star. Always seems a little weird that he actually had two almost PPG seasons there.

Yeah Kariya has the two highest-scoring seasons in Predators history.
Speaking of Preds wearing that weird square-collared mustard jersey...

Gary Leeman disappointed me even more than that.

Literally had this convo with a friend yesterday. I draw the line in the mid 90's when Butterfly goaltending took over. I think for the most part if you took any back ups from the modern NHL and dropped them anywhere pre-80's and they'll be considered one of the best of all time

I can't believe that I have absolutely no recollection of this... like at all. This one takes the cake for me.

It’s true.

It always feels like it was Winnipeg > Anaheim > Colorado > Anaheim for Selanne, and people always look at like Kariya+Selanne left Anaheim together to go to Colorado. But everyone forgets he played parts of three seasons in San Jose between Anaheim and Colorado, and was traded from Anahiem to San Jose for a bag of scraps.

Remember the time Selanne signed an offer sheet from the Flames. We were so close dammit!

Going down a rabbit hole I saw that Tony Amonte played here. Completely forgot about that. Was even more surprised to see he played two seasons here that I forgot about.
