Too bad but also have not been there in years.
I remember going there in late 90s all the time. The North location was lots of fun for a while.
I guess looking at the wall, the post COVID world we are going into will have people staying away from bars and especially highly social ones with lots of contact.
Sorry to see it go, and I think we will look back at this like we do Bullwinkle's. Amazing spot for the time, but times change.

Crappy. I liked it even though it was overpriced.

Sounds like they are waiting for phase 3 to open. Read that somewheres but can't find a source, so might not quite be true.

That makes more sense - they always were packed downstairs, and the food was good upstairs.

Had a massive craving for Chinese food which is rare for me. Don't think I've ordered Chinese in 5+ years.
Anyway, I looked up the closest place and pulled the trigger on delivery. It definitely exceeded expectations. I got some Shanghai noodles, ginger beef & spring rolls and it was very tasty, not overly greasy or salty. I mean it's Chinese takeout so there's definitely some sodium and grease. Friendly staff to boot and fair pricing IMO.
Golden National Chinese in Mackenzie Towne. Recommend.

Gone forever at Crowfoot - Quiznos (always seemed busy). Schanks. Boardwalk Burgers.

Crowfoot seems to be tough for restaurants, not sure why. Tony Roma’s and Montana’s were casualties too

Well one of the reasons is the insanely high rent in Crowfoot.

Were you drunk or high? That's probably the worse place to order from. I'll order from Ginger Beef in Cranston or from Bill's Peking House.

I was not. I had the Shangai noodles and gingerbeef and I was pleased.
Maybe their other stuff sucks?
I might try those other two places the next time I suffer a craving.

The Goose has opened for takeout, which is a relief. They went dead quiet after they shut down so I was worried they might not re-open. They are a great neighborhood spot with tasty food and a great beer & cocktail menu.

Not sure why, but Quiznos has just seemed to die off in Calgary the last few years.
