New poll ideas?
Thought it would be helpful to create a topic to see if there are other ideas as to how to get us through this shut down.
My first two that burn a few days are ...
1. A day over day best coach in team history drill down. Elect a guy, remove him from the list and go for 2nd place the second day. I think it would create some good discussion.
2. Do the same for general managers.
3. Do the same for team captains in history
Thoughts on those?
Other ideas?
We could put up the top ten goaltenders and elect the first and second team goalie. Do the same for centers, left wings, right wings, and defensemen.

I’d say vote on a best roster of all time. Players must be in the correct position.
13 forwards
7 defencemen
2 Goalies
I think it would be interesting I think this place is split about 50/50 with fans of the 80s teams and fans of now.

All of those thoughts are fantastic. I loved the jersey number poll and was sad that we are at the end so any new poll idea you come up with will be okay for me.

Would be neat to see if Game 6 of the 89 Finals wins by a landslide over say Game 7 from the 86 series against the Oilers.

ok I'm going to launch an all time team poll to start ...
Include Atlanta or just go with Calgary? I'll wait for 5 comments and take the majority
Oh and we have time ... so go with a first elected left wing, then a second, then a third until we have four? Or just an option to pick four at once?

Rank our top trades and our worst trades like Jiri said. That would lead to all sorts of nostalgia and discussion about the past even if it is a little sad. The discussion doesnt have to be sad haha

I wouldn’t do them at once, I’d do one a day.
Day 1 Line 1 left wing
Day 2 Line 1 center
Day 3 Line 1 Right wing
I’d just do Calgary, I honestly don’t think any Atlanta players will have a chance to win any of the spots. But that’s me I also do not know any Atlanta players.
