great bump. I was just about to do the same. CRAZY!
I love that Hiro's father was played by Mr. Sulu from the original star trek.

Anyone catch the license plate of Hiro's dad's Mercedes S600? NCC-1701.
Man I love nerd humour.
Oh man, what a twist with Claire's real father - dude gets around....
C'mon Mohinder.... you're supposed to be smarter than that... why is he teaming up with Sylar? You too Issac!

I was saying to my girlfriend when we were watching her father would be someone already known to us. But, alas, I uncorrectly predicted it would be invisible guy.
It will be interesting to see what connection the invisible guy has to Claire's dad.

Dammit! I was flipping around and caught most of an episode of this show. Figured I'd watch it since you guys seem to love it. Man was it good. I don't have time for TV so I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do! Guess I'll have to wait for it on DVD so I can watch from the start and figure some things out.

I guessed it was Nathan, only because of the promo with the rolled back shirt. My second guess would have been Linderman

I orginally thought about Linderman but then figured they wouldn't be revealing who he is until the final episode of the season if then.
Then I thought about Nathan as part of his backstory is how he's a bit of a womanizer and you just knew he had some big big secrets that would potentially kill his governor hopes (well besides being able to fly). His concern about his weird brother stems from him not wanting people to have a major reason to dig into his families past. I just couldn't place what his characters age is supposed to be in order to do the math and see if it made sense, but figured he was the most likely candidate.

Did anyone else catch when they showed the scenes from next week, that the new character called Hiro "Sulu". Neat little reference there.
I'm gonna have to go back and watch all these again for the hidden references like these.
And is it just me, or is anyone else glad to see Ali Larter out of the padded room? Too many reminders of Final Destination 2 when she was in there. Must be in her contract that she needs to wear a straight jacket.
Better episode than the last, but the one thing I can't figure out yet is how does a guy who only has one power (invisibility) able to tell someone who has many powers how to handle them? What makes this guy such an expert?

There's some backstory there -- something to do with Claire's dad. Remember when Isaac was talking to him on the phone and told him that Peter was invisibile he said that "an old friend is back". Perhaps he was involved with Claire's dad in the beginning, like Eve (I believe that was her name, Claire's dad's assitant that was killed by Sylar).
And he may well have more than one power, we've only seen one, but that doesn't mean he has only one.

True... and I know that there is back story. But it would make more sense if we saw more powers out of the guy.

It was even more than that, HRG implied that he thought the guy was dead. Something like "an old friend isn't as dead as we thought he was".
Something like that.
