The C9 vs C2 isn't even close.

Ha, that brings back memories of the idea that when you got done with a mag you merely dropped it and stomped it.

It was so bizarre now thinking about it because of the logistical problems it would have created..

Dude...grow up and start acting like an adult...or are you incapable?

No idea why this is being tolerated over and over and over.

Ruining and ####posting every thread he takes part in is an interesting, yet puzzling schtick

Well as we expected, and he has now proven, he only has the capability of understanding comical pictures so that's the limit of contribution.....i guess?

I kind of thought persistent baiting would get you banned. Maybe this is a mod-free zone

For sure. I only shot a C1 once (Of course it was down in the states because they're stupidly prohibited here) but the handling of a C7 is lightyears better than the FN. Gotta take that over the extra punch 9 times out of 10

Classic gun folk am I right? “An armed population discourages bureaucratic overreach. Also, can I get some bureaucratic overreach in here?”

It’s always “where’s the government” when you want help and militia cosplay when you don’t.

I’m on to all of you (collectively)!

Also, surprisingly the degree of snowflakishness gun nuts are, and how fast they are to use the victim card, but what really has me worried is their cries of being baited. I’m not comfortable with armed people so easily jumping to the conclusion they are being baited.

Anyways, Royce or whatever sent out the Duffman signal, so you all can blame him

All true. The SMG was so much fun to shoot though! You really had to be careful with tucking the C1 in to your shoulder or it would kick the hell out of you. There was a girl on my basic who was about 4’9”. By the end of the first range day, the right side of her face looked like she was a squirrel storing enough nuts for about 5 winters.😂

Yep, the C2 sucked.

I'll preface by saying I really like btimbit and his posting. Solid guy, with a lot of humility and great opinions.

This is not a shot at gun enthusiasts in Canada, but I really do appreciate that in a community as big as CP that the number of posters who actually own and enjoy discussing guns is a rounding error. It makes me really happy and comforted.

In saying that I mean no disrespect or ill will towards those that do, in fact if everyone treated the hobby like those on CP do I'd be comfortable with the entire population owing guns.

I definitely don’t take being called a rounding error as an insult.

Why would that be an insult? Seriously? I was very respectful in what I think of CP gun hobbyists?

The fact that you are small in numbers isn't an insult it's a fact, and what I think of guns isn't an insult it's my feeling on guns. Where's the insult? Do you want your numbers to be higher? And if so, what is the reason behind that?

I really like the gun enthusiasts on CP and value their opinion, I just don't like guns and hope for the least amount of gun enthusiasts possible, nationwide because humans are generally ****. No offense intended and none should be taken.

I mean I literally said that if every gun owner was like the ones on CP I'd support the whole country owning guns. If you don't find a level of respect in that from a complete anti-gun citizen then I don't know what to say.

Trying for a little levity and failed. I’m not insulted. I know those of us that enjoy firearms are an extreme minority here, it’s ok with me. Take it easy bud.

Let's pinch out the enthusiasts and leave all the guns to the criminals, all while spending finite legal and government resources and billions of dollars doing it?

My statement was as worded, you added the narrative yourself, putting words in my mouth. I want the least amount of Canadians interested in guns. I said nothing about pinching out the enthusiasts and leaving guns to criminals. Contrary to popular belief these are not mutually exclusive feelings, either.

Wanting less gun culture in Canada does not mean wanting to leave all the guns to the criminals, in fact I want less guns for the criminals too. I want less guns everywhere. But at the same time have full respect and no animosity towards those that love and own guns properly and safely (which is the vast majority of gun owners).

The nice/interesting thing about gun enthusiasts in Canada is not that many of us (that I talk to at least, maybe it's just my circles) want anything to do with having our laws become like the US. We're largely in favour of stricter licensing and more training to get said licenses, and all have a good laugh at going down to the US for shows and shoots and meeting the classic big dumb Bubba who doesn't feel safe leaving his house without a Glock.

So we get very annoyed and defensive at people that see America's gun problems and then come at us. We're not a militia we're freakin nerding out over these things
