Of course it is. Which is why I paid a 2nd for Anisimov and an extra $1 million. $4.55 million of cap is nothing small.

But I managed to trade de Haan, who is demonstrably worse than Anisimov, so who knows.

I probably would have made this a separate thread but that's alright!

I wasn't really planning on moving Hedman, but I did have a bit of room on the backend and Cheese wanted a top end guy.

Hard moving the best dman in the game, but I love Hischier's contract for 2 more years, and adding two good 1st round pieces gives me some more ammo to work with in the offseason to make deals.

Was in big negotiations with two gms for a long time now and came to deals today with both and unfortunately had to make a decision. Just felt like cap included is going to be huge for me and Hinostroza is a bounce back candidate and more of a “sure thing” then the guys in the other deal. Goalie market has been poo so I was hoping to get more but I’m fine with what I got in the end considering goalies are going for so cheap right now.
