Last years regular season was clearly an aberration especially combined with this years record(goal differential and regulation wins). This team is a bubble playoff team at best. Lucky the Flames are in the pacific.

Player walks right in off the boards, not a stick laid on him. Rittich down early and deep.
Of course that's going to be a goal.
Down 3-1 against a depleted Sharks team that has lost a bunch of games lately.
Mark Giordano goes down with a lower body injury and could be out long term.
People will say this is too early, but tonight is the night that the Flames season began its demise.

Make some lateral retool trades, sell off a couple guys in the bottom six.
I think we need a retool on the fly here, the standings be damned. They haven't been the sum of their parts all season.

Going to be fun seeing the Oilers in the playoffs while the Flames are on the golf course.
At least they have one of the most exciting players in the world to watch. This season has been hard to be interested in watching games for because Flames best players are dog ####, and the team is so lifeless and dull as a result.
Can't wait for major changes. That's what to look forward to now.
Maybe next season(s).
