Gio, Tkachuk and Rittich represented our team very well.

Tkachuk looked dominant all game, Gio made some beautiful stretch passes to the Oiler goofs and also played great defense. Rittich was awesome, loved that pad stack.

Most likely. When Gio got money in the hardest-shot competition last night, they said he was donating to the Snowy Strong charity for ALS. I'd guess the same will be done with the ASG money.

The winning team gets $1000000 with each player donating their $100000 share to a charity of their choice.

Rittich only allowed 2 goals? That's awesome.

No idea how Hertl didn't win MVP. 4 goals in the semi and the winning goal in the final?

Weird.

I don't know if it was based entirely on the Twitter vote, but if it was, he wasn't even on the ballot.

I don't know if this has been posted already, but arguably the best parts of this All-Star Game were:

-Tkachuk having chemistry playing with two CaSucks
-Tkachuk's beauty assist to DraiLiath (with subsequent ignore-Leon/skate-off)

The EDM/VCR fan bases got to see first-hand what both of their organizations passed up in 2016, only for the Flames to secure the future face of their own franchise.

Sheer. Poetry.

Tkachuk really wanted this. Sure some flair but he was on the puck hard and not floating out there. 6 points and GWG in 1st game. The bump back pass he made to Loser Leo on the goa and the another one later...and then no acknowledgement after the goal was beauty,

McDavid and Loser Leo were energized by the fact they had a true professional playing defense that could keep up with their skill and play defense at the same time.

By the second game they were looking for Gio, Gio made great passes to each of them and was in the right spot all the time. Leo commented on his goal how great a pass it was an then another log outlet to McDavid. Dare I say Gio forced them to be better defensively (and for a brief minute, gave them their “d”’s back).

McDavid talked about actually working up a sweat and really wanting it at the end, well, thats the way Gio plays all the time. He was ready to block the Pasternak shot at the end, and pulled McDavid and Leon into playing legit defensive game and caring, because Gio cares. And McDavid with the pass back to Rittich, o way he tries that with Koskinen,it will go in glove side.

Wednesday they’ll be back to icing or hospital passes from Nurse and the rest of the motley Crüe they call defenseman.

That hug though at the end...going to take some getting over.

Well it’s silly that Hertl wasn’t an option. I kind of thought he has the obvious choice.

Vernon used to come back from these games shell shocked so good that Rittich fared pretty well.

The effort level was as expected I guess. A ton of standing around watching inside their own zone until the very end.

I think connor and leon genuinely like BSD, but really who couldn't. Dude is awesome.

So I apparently missed a "#### you" from draisaitl to Tkachuk on the ice and matthew skating straight off after setting him up. Anybody got video/gifs?!

Everybody should like Big Save Dave.... 2 goals in 2 games. Huge personality.

Hard to score on during practice.... that may mean more than a lot of people tend to appreciate

Huzzahs to Big Save Dave

It happened. He got asked about it in his post game scrum and played it off as he was joking and how he found it funny at the time. And people call Tkachuk a ##### this guy can’t even admit how he really feels
