I’m proud to say I’ve never seen this video. I’ve seen the picture and that’s enough for me to decide that I don’t need to consume this.
I also carry with pride the fact that I’ve never stepped foot in a Rexall in my life. There’s always somewhere else.

He has not aged well. Deadmonton will do that to anyone.
I think the first game Frolik played for us against the Oilers he got a hat trick, and I think his third was the game winner from behind the red goal line in the corner. I thought that was pretty neat. His first goal was on empty net on a giveaway from their goalie. Lols.
There was another Gagner gif from around the same time where he had the puck and when he came close to an opposing player he ran himself into the boards HARD trying to avoid him. Can't find it though.
I believe it was Gaskal (?) that made a dubbed over video of Treliving showing up Chiarelli on draft day (McDavid, Hamilton/Reinhart trades). Can't seem to find it on YouTube anymore, though.

If you told an Oiler fan that starting in 2010 they would begin a run of picking 1st overall 3 years in a row then pick 7th, 3rd before another 1st overall that would be the next true generational player to hit the league after Crosby they would have easily assumed the back half of the decade would involve multiple cups or at least deep playoff runs.
The fact they only made the playoffs once and reverted back to being a bottom 10 team that is still shallow and appears years away from contending is simply amazing
