Not sure where you find a good reliable RB in week 17, never mind 2 or 3. Kaepernick? Marshawn Lynch? Maybe the Skins will cut AP?

Can anyone comment on the tie break procedure for Pittsburgh and Tennessee. I'm trying to wrap my head around it and it looks like they are down to the #4 rule in this situation. They didn't play head to head, they had the same conference record and from what I can figure out they have the same record in "common games" so it goes to "strength of victory" whatever that means. Am I right with this?

The appropriate end for the NFC East is for Philly to lose to the Giants and the Cowboys tie the Redskins.

Knowing Pete Carroll he will find some guy buried on a practice roster somewhere, bring him in and the guy will go for 100+ next week.

The Saints still don't control their own destiny for a bye..they need the Vikings to beat the Packers tomorrow and beat the Panthers next week. Tomorrow's game has huge implications in their hopes for home field (also need the Seahawks to beat SF next week).

Trubisky definitely sucks, but the Bears are more undisciplined this year and that’s on Nagy.

Must burn Bear's fans that they chose Trubisky over Mahomes.

Titans win next week there in. If they lose and Steelers lose and Colts lose Titans are in. If Titans lose but Steelers win, Steelers are in. If Titans and Steelers lose but Colts and Raiders win them Raiders are in.

Well the Chiefs should win a rare Sunday night game. They have generally played bad in this time slot. I think Nagy's bad decisions helped this game be more one sided than it should have. Looks like Chiefs will be hosting the oddball who claims the #6 seed in the AFC.

Bears down 23-3....less than 2 minutes left.....start taking timeouts....even though the Chiefs have the ball. Why?

Brutal team with brutal coaching.

Syl will hate me for jinxing the Chiefs like this, but they certainly have the look of the team who is putting it all together at the right time. Spagnuolo has been dialing up some great blitzes recently and even though the offense isn't on hyper destruction like last year they are doing the job too. As for the Bears I imagine we'll see Mariota there next year as the guy to take Trubisky's job and they hope Mariota goes, well, Tannehill.

When you are looking to Mariota to improve your QB situation it's a sign that things have gone horribly wrong. I notice this season the media has really gone silent in regards to the Mack trade. Last season they were relentlessly mocking Gruden but all of a sudden with the first Bears pick turning into Jacobs and the next one going to be a mid-first round pick that trade looks really good for the Raiders. Mack's a good player but the Bears not only gave up two 1sts but paid him a tonne of money as a $25 million cap hit for a team that doesn't have a viable starting QB is tough to swallow especially when you can argue Hicks is more important to their defense.

Running backs are a dime a dozen, Khalil Mack is a rare talent. If the Bears had any type of offense they would be a playoff team.

Trubisky is really just not a starting calibre QB, his decision making is just so slow, whether he hesitates due to uncertainty, or his brain is slow I don't know. The Bears really also don't have what I call a coherant identity offensively.

In that Dallas vs Philly last play in the endzone breakup, the whole route structure didn't really help that play at all. but throwing an outside leverage deep is just kind of stupid to me.

Garrett getting fired would be the only positive thing that happened this season.

Poor Cowboy fans, Garrett can't even be fired. His contract is up after Sunday so he just won't be retained. Can't even get that satisfaction.
