That's exactly why it's there though. Faceoff after a goal is always at centre ice no matter what happens.

Undermined the officials. Who are garbage. If you referee in any level of hockey, stop the payback. You're getting paid. Just call what is necessary and stop trying to be a factor in the game.
Refs have huge egos too. The crosscheck on Johnny by Perry was junk, still couldn't call it though.
