Fun episode! I'm enjoying the serial nature of the show, and I like the characters. But I agree with the general sentiment here regarding the story progression. Hopefully we'll get a bit of that with these final two episodes, and it'll set it up nicely for a second season.

Chances are we know how its going to end.
The Mandalorian is believed Dead, the key villian goes back to his ranch errr Space Station for a glass of whisk . . . blue milk and as he's drinking it the Mando steps out of the Shadows with his gun up. The villain stutters "How are you alive" and the Mando shoots him.
Or Baby Yoda does the above with an over sized blaster. to kill the man who killed his pa.

Had an idea!
|
To me it has slowed down quite a bit, and the story doesn't seem to have a point. Almost like they're trying to fill in episodes till the finale.

I love the show and so do my kids. I like the stand alone adventures with links to a main theme but not every episode is devoted to it. I am not as up on the Star Wars canon as others here, is there a reason that the Mandalorians want everyone to think they are all dead?

heh, his names not Mando, he's never given anyone his name, they just call him that as a short form of Mandalorian.
His real name is Doug, Doug Morales

Maybe he doesn't want his name shared for other reasons. Maybe he's an Imperial defector, maybe he killed a man for looking at him wrong.
I mean the Bobba Fett thing not withstanding he wasn't really a Mandalorian. And he lived and died by self promoting himself as Bobba Fett the best bounty hunter in the galaxy. Here's my card.

I like the whole mystery idea of the man with no name being called by his race. Mainly because the Mandalorians have such a fierce reputation in the Galaxy as mercs and bounty Hunters.

I've thought for sure that this was how they would do it. I was hoping for some kind of, however minor, The Rise of Skywalker tie-in with the Wednesday release, but now it just looks like a way to get a last trailer out.
I have tickets for 6:00pm ET showing Thursday with my son. We have watched all of the movies in anticipation, with The Last Jedi and the upcoming Mandalorian episode on the docket for tomorrow night. Can't wait!

I liked the last one, the prison break episode.
