Default December 3 with ten games!

The Tuesday OOT has three Pacific Division teams in action. The Habs coach is on the hot seat.

I just read that the Preds are 10-0-2 against the Lightning their last dozen games.

TB hasn't won in regulation in 6 years.

Crazy.

Leafs lose 6-1 but that doesn't do anything to explain the context of this game.

It was a 1-0 game after 2. Then Dermott scores a fluky goal from the point midway in the 3rd to tie it at 1. Then about a minute and a half later, Giroux scores to make it 2-1 Flyers. Then, after about 6 minutes later, Konecny scores on a 2 on 1 after Dermott got caught cheating too far into the O zone.

Then the Flyers basically scored three more goals (the 1st one an empty netter) in the last 2 minutes to salt it away.

Cody Ceci isn't very good at all and may be getting the brunt of the heat by those Twitter nerds, but Matthews should also be getting a lot of heat for piss poor defensive play on a couple of those Flyers goals. Lost his man Giroux on what was the deciding goal.

Dermott should be getting lots of heat for turning the play into a 2 on 1 for the 3rd Flyers goal as well.

Leafs total collapse late in the third. Wonder if we target one of their top six.

Was at the game. Amazingly unskilled game for 2 supposedly highly skilled teams.

Matthews might be one of the most frustrating Leaf players I've seen in my entire fandom.

Kessel used to get so much crap from the Toronto media back in the day but he hustled way more than Matthews. The guy needs to try a little more.

As for the game, the Leafs outplayed then in the 1st periid, 2nd period was a split, and after the empty better the team just gave up. It was actually a close game.

And the Leafs play again tomorrow!

Tomorrow will be the Leafs 30th game of the season. Of those 30 16 have been back to back.

That's right! This will be their eighth back to back set in 30 games.

Great scheduling.

The "honeymoon" is over. The Devils had no honeymoon with their new coach as they lost 4-3 in regulation. They had a 2-1 lead after forty minutes and then it was the Jonathan Marchessault show as he scored a natural hat trick in the third period.

Final scores
https://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/scores/2019-12-03
http://sportsstats.cbc.ca/news/NHL-R...ate=12-03-2019

The Habs finally break their winless streak, they defeated the Islanders 4-2. Price faced 21 shots while Greiss was busy in net as the Habs fired 40 shots at him.

The Panthers had a 2-0 lead and the Wild came back with four straight goals.

The Alex Burrows night went well for the Canucks as they had a 4-0 lead after twenty minutes and went on to win 5-2.
