Now that this week's fecal show is behind us let's get back to what brought us all together, BABY YODA!! No,no , it's of course FLAMES HOCKEY BABY!!!
Ward and his..ahem wards roll into Ottawa and it's time for a statement game. After yesterdays fun filled and high falutin practice, I honestly believe this team is about to turn it on in the biggest way. They really looked like a group that had a ten ton stone lifted off.
EDIT : SO apparently this is a home game. AT 5:00. Shrug.

 GO FLAMS GO!!!!

Projected line from Flames.com:
FORWARDS
Johnny Gaudreau - Sean Monahan - Elias Lindholm
Matthew Tkachuk - Mikael Backlund - Andrew Mangiapane
Milan Lucic - Derek Ryan - Dillon Dube
Tobias Rieder - Mark Jankowski - Michael Frolik
DEFENCE
Mark Giordano - TJ Brodie
Noah Hanifin - Travis Hamonic
Michael Stone - Rasmus Andersson
GOALTENDER
David Rittich

Assume Rittich will get the start again, and with a 4 day break coming up probably makes sense, but really need to get Talbot same games too.
Was the Vegas game the last he played? With the Avs / Coyote double header next Mon/Tues his likely next start, thats 3 weeks between games.

In general, they're gonna have to start playing Talbot a lot to get him to catch up in the amount of games he should be playing.

I just want to see them have fun again. Part of my enjoyment of the game is seeing the enjoyment of the players. Enjoyment usually follows winning or strong play. I'll take all of the above thank you very much. This team has been such a bummer to follow ever since April.
I think everyone could use a good news story with this team for once.

I’m a bit behind. Are Conroy and Gelly going to stay on the bench?

Geninas, yes. Not Conroy. He is after all an AGM and not a coach.

Sounds like Conroy will be taking Gelinas spot as the eye in the sky. So there will be some coaching involved.

Why is a Saturday home game starting at 5 o’clock? The scheduling has been brutal lately - an entire month between proper 8 pm Saturday night games.

I assume if the Flames were on top of the west the games would of been switched with the Edmonton game.

7 pm is proper, they only get 8pm starts when they have to wait for the leafs to finish
