To add on to the earlier post, airmilesshops.ca will have 20x the Air Miles during Black Friday site-wide for sites like Amazon, Apple, Etsy and a ton others. I did my Xmas shopping on there last year and earned enough for a couple of short haul flights.

They were just on sale during SportChek's friends and family sale. My friend got the 40L (I think that was the size) for like $100 off. edit: 45L.

So they do go on sale.

Anyone here have the Beam? Is it worth it standalone without the sub compared to a traditional <$200 2.1 setup?

Lou's is the best-known bootfitter in Calgary. By 5%, he is referring to the fact that most mass-produced ski boots are not designed to fit the various shapes and sizes of feet that people have, so unless you happen to luck out and find one that by pure chance was molded in a way that works with your foot, you're probably going to need bootwork for the best fit. Basically, boots are the most important piece of ski equipment in terms of actually enjoying your day on the hill, and also the hardest to get right, so spending more on them by buying from people who know what they're doing will be worth it.

Nope. I bought the one that someone in this thread suggested earlier ($60 for a decent dashcam with parking mode is pretty good). If I do find something crazy tomorrow (Memoryexpress has not released any info about its deals yet for example) I can always return it.

This isn't quite a security camera deal, but it sort of is... the Ring Video Doorbell Pro (the one with motion detection) is normally 299, but Amazon is selling it for 244 and throwing in an Echo Show 5 in the deal (which usually costs $100). It's a good deal if you're using the Echo smart home ecosystem, like me.

I have the Beam.. its good. Not a giant audio guy but its better than the junky old Sony thing I had for $100. Paired it was 2 Sonos Ones that are back-speakers, but don't yet have the Sub.

Lou is all hype. Dude has made a living off of convincing people his poor fit is correct so they keep coming back again and again. All my skiing budies that swear by him are seeing him every few months to tweak their fit. Meanwhile those that just go get boots that fit in the first place are in the clear and out skiing in their boots.

Full disclosure, I'm a snowboarder so my boots are comfortable.
