Dumb post. Flames played an excellent game for the most part, and were the better team for the majority of this game. Sadly they didn't get a proper chance during OT because of that horses**t penalty call. They deserved a better fate in this one.

Wasn’t going to be MT.
Backlund was just on the PK. As was Lindholm. Monahan was just on after he got out of the box.
So Ryan out there makes sense.

This flames team sucks. Can't win faceoffs, has zero possession or offense. Dumb penalties. Then the OT winner is a laugher.
Derek Ryan has been beyond useless all year.
Flames suck.

If you watch the replay Ryan clearly stops mid stride for some strange reason letting the Jet player just skate away.

This isn't the problem, it's that other teams just don't get called for them. The exact same stick work and the refs just ignore it.

We see that but Ryan was the back checker and he refused to take the man (whether he was tkachuks to start is irrelevant) and just stopped moving his feet
