CBC showing the PCs up to 115 seats now. If the NDP could steal a few more from the Liberals it might bring the minority split down. 130 for the Liberals, and 30 each for the Bloq and NDP would render the coalition useless without having a 3 party agreement.

There’s no way either Scheer (or his replacement) or Trudeau would work with each other. The two top parties never work together in a minority.

That's a shame, I didn't agree with her politics but I hoped that she would win just so she could spit into Justin's coffee on a daily basis.

Hopefully he's gone too.

Honestly, I think this is better than expected considering how poor a candidate Scheer was. The voting proportions between the Liberals and Conservatives are very close, the issue is the Liberals are more likely to benefit with the loss of NDP support which is exactly what happened. 14% of the popular vote for the NDP is absolutely abysmal.
Definitely a truly divided country, and western alienation continues.

They could work together to force TMX through.

They've been pumping anyone aside from the Bloc or Conservatives, save for Rona Ambrose

Won't happen, Justin won't surrender his green banner. I still believe that TMX is going back to be reviewed under Bill C-69, that's why the Libs couldn't be bothered to show up at the last hearing to present the governments position.

This is what I don't get. 2 seat fringe party with no possible competence to actually run a country and they get treated in the media like they're a real thing.

Yeah, it's not like Ontario doesn't have a history of swinging votes. Probably more so than any other province.
It looks like this round the Liberals are going to get roughly 60% of the Ontario seats.
I don't know what the high-bar is there, but I am sure it is higher.
The Reform Party is the worst thing to happen to conservatism in Canada. Well, I guess you could look at Mulroney too who was at least liberally progressive, but he destroyed that party and split the right between progressives and prudes. Once the prudes got in, it all changed.
The Conservative Party would be much better off splitting again and could have their "right" version of the NDP. The new party would probably steal a lot of support from the Liberals.
It would probably lead to the need for coalitions in the future, but the current party brands just aren't doing it for a lot of people.

They won’t. The Conservatives would find a reason to oppose. They didn’t even support the government in the court fights to push it through. They sniped from the sidelines.
I’m not sure what more needs to be done anyway. It’s all court battles and regulatory stuff.

I can't believe that we are giving the reins back to an openly corrupt Trudeau. What the hell are we in store for now if he knows that no matter what he does there are no repercussions

I’m not one to complain about CBC bias but the CBC host is giddy with the conservative failure.
