Oilers get shutout like the no goods that they are.
Flames brush aside all curses and take care of business in Anaheim.

The universe corrected itself a little today.

A #Flames win at Honda Center. For a long time, auto-correct would not have allowed that line ...

What a game. Gibson stood on his head. The Flames just kept on their have and we're eventually rewarded. This was a game with adversity, where they just didn't get rattled, and they did it in an arena where they historically get destroyed. Against a lesser goalie this would have been a 4-1 game.

Hopefully they can go back to an easier schedule and I'll ahead in the standings.

The Honda Centre can't stop the power of the frog. Guess I will have to keep perching him on my shoulders for games.

It’s always great to win. Talbot made some great saves and CGY gutted it out with some guys out. It was a good road win in a tough building. They need to improve in a few areas though. CGY needs to exit and transition better. They need to move the puck quicker, exit clean and get some rush chances. They worked for their chances and that’s good but it seemed to me they defended a lot.

ANA had some good looks with shots that went wide or, and credit to CGY that they blocked. But they had more flow to their game. They created some good chances. Obviously they were the rested team.

Again great to win but it’s how you play. CGY has to be credited for their bounce back effort but it would be good to see them find a higher level of execution and play. Build off this, bring the consistent battle level, gain confidence and get that skill game going.
