They would theoretically be able to sign him, seeing as he has no NHL affiliation
Although seeing as he's Rockford's captain I'm not sure he'd want to leave

Not sure. Looked to me like if he doesn't get the hook in the Flyer may have an opportunity to go straight to the net putting Gio in a position where he either has to make a great play or take a penalty himself.

I don’t necessarily have a problem with it, it’s just he’s going to figure out how to be upright if he wants to be a bonafide top 6 winger, as being out of commission for your other line mates for 10 seconds every shift isn’t going to work well.
