I don't mind these PTO's. Obviously, BT and the team feel like they lack grit and toughness. Could be good 2 way contracts.

I predict they sign both DSP and Reider.
Both would be rock solid additions to the bottom six.
Especially since it sounds like Mangipane isnt too keen on showing up.

It probably puts some pressure on Mangiapane to sign the deal put in front of him. There is only so much space in the NHL.

Obviously This makes Quine, Czarnik ,Dube, Mangiapane all have to show up and be considerably better which I have no problem with .
We need these PTO to be there best too to make this worthwhile . I hope Peters Ward and Huska have sat down and told these guys there arent guarantees anymore.
1st round playoff exits (asswhoopins) aren't accepted anymore and we need the best players playing.
Excited for this year's camp.

The availabitlity of guys like Smith-Pelly on PTOs is why you don't sign Garnet Hathaway to a 4 year $1.5M cap hit.

DSP and Monahan are like, hang out all summer level of friends. He’d probably fit right into the room and brings some serious playoff experience. Hope he sticks
