I realise there has been a lot of threads on Nintendo's new machine, but I thought this would garner some interest on a slow OT forum day. Some incredible results for the video game company:

"
Throughout the November/December holiday shopping period, Nintendo accounted for more than half of all video game hardware systems sold in America.
Earlier this week, Nintendo increased its projected worldwide financial performance for the year ending on March 31 to be the best in company history."
I would think that it's success is largely dependent on it's price. I should say however that I finally got my online gig going, and was pretty dissapointed in the virtual console. What's with the ****-poor selection of old school games? Plus, we've already waited for games to be released, why do we have to wait for games that have already been released in the past? Plus, the price for some of these games is quite steep, considering you can just go online and get an emulator for free.
Anyways, good to see, I guess.
