That would also be ex-Flames Stewart (albeit only for 7 games).

3RW? Nah. What's the NHLe of 6 goals, 13 points in the EIHL (half season)? 2 goals, 6 points?

Paul Bissonette had 19 points in 10 games when he played there, so probably much less than your estimate lol

And he didn't bring a physical edge at all, which was mainly why they were looking at him. I didn't want happy go lucky Stewart running onto the ice.

No chance Chris Stewart makes the nhl. I’m not even sure he’s better than the guys on Ottawa’s 4th line

Chris Stewart wouldn't even make the Oilers roster at this point, and it's half AHLers.

As someone said above, he had a pretty sad showing in a 4th tier league last season. When biznasty put up dramatically better numbers than you in the same league, it's not a good sign.

Stewart is the classic example of a "maybe he'll put it together this year" type of player. He's a mirage in the desert.

It's gotta be a preseason away game filler. They aren't in cap trouble, since they have only one forward and one D spot to sign yet (Kocecny and Provorov) and $13M in space.

The Oilers should sign him to make Lucic look good. 🙈

Couple more from the last couple days:
 - Stefan Noesen to Dallas
 - Drew Stafford to Minnesota

wonder if Marleau ends up having to sign one, since the sharks don't want him back.
