The Eagle ineptitude in the playoffs continues.
I was stunned and elated when that happened, the Saints secondary, notably Fred Thomas was awful all night, couldn't believe Reid thought the defence could stop Deuce late.

OK, if you want to make it a hockey analogy, to me watching a game that is decided only with field goals is like watching a hockey game with no regulation goals, and just all shoot out.

If it was because it was an even game with terrific goaltending would it be so terrible?

Great ending to the Seattle/Chicago game. Gould kicks a 49 yard FG in OT to win it 27-24.

New Orleans @ Chicago in the NFC Championship.

Indy faces the winner of New England/San Diego.

GO COLTS!

Bears win in OT. I don't know if I like the Saints' chances on the road next week.

Go Chargers/Bears!

the Chargers punter doing an amazing job at giving Brady crappy field position today. Pretty good football game this afternoon. Both defenses are playing well, other than LT, the offenses are mediocre. Brady with a great drive to end the1st half, but gets picked in the 3rd.

Chargers are doing everything they can to give the Pats this game.

Parker with a brutal drop and then stupid to not just fall on it.

The Chargers have looked much better this whole game but stupid plays from the Chargers have kept the Pats in this game.

how was that not offside when Merriman injured himself? He was clearly over the line of scrimmage. Nice of #29 to head butt the New England player anyway to give them the first down.

Especially when he ended up taking the worst of it.

Stupid penalty by that guy. I am always amazed at how stupid professional athletes can be at times. How, as a professional, do you take that penalty? A hold or PI I can see, but a Personal Foul on what would have been fourth down in the red zone? And it happens all the time.

Chargers with the fumble after the INT trying to get an extra yard and the Chargers continue to do their best to give away the game.

If the Pats come back to win this game and we have to hear all week about how great Brady and Belichek are after the win I think I will puke.

Instead of the Chargers having the ball at midfield and at the least wasting three minutes off the closck and pinning the Pats deep the Chargers are now tied with the Pats.

Perhaps all Marty has to do is stand on the sidelines to be a curse because the Chargers should be up by at least two TD's by now and it hasn't been play calling that is killing them it is execution and stupid plays by their guys.

Unbelieveable melt down by the Chargers in this game.

If they lose this game they have nobody but themselves to blame. Not the Pats, not Marty, not the refs. The only people that affected the outcome of this game were the Chargers players.

give the Pats some props, moon. I know you hate them, but there were some great plays made by them as well. Troy Brown strips the ball. Assante Samuel's great play to block a pass. Not Brady's best game, but he made some clutch passes. The defense has been great today. And Gostkowski has been steady under pressure. Can't wait for Indy next week. Bring it on, baby!!!

What an embarassment. I am not a even a fan of the Chargers and their play was embarassing this game.

Talk about an underserved win by a team that has lived off undeserved wins.

Go Colts Go.

The Brown strip was more luck than skill in my view. The stupid penalties by San Diego all game. The weak defense on the two point conversion. The numerous drops early by San Diego wide recievers.

The Pats obviously made enough plays to win the game but they were outplayed and clearly the second best team on the field today.

Our defense has stepped up, Manning/Harrison/Clark/Wayne/Addai will pick it up and Vinatieri will break your hearts!
